I was flipping thru an old calendar that
had quotes and sayings, and the first one said
"If you start something,
finish it."
That really struck home, I'm finishing all these projects
I did in the last year before starting any new ones.This blogging
has been a good thing, a reason to finish.

"Pearls and Rose Buds"
This was my first try at drawn work. I enjoyed doing it even if it's not perfect. I stitch to relax and hope that someone will enjoy looking at my work. I feel hidden deep in the internet and wonder if anyone but my family ever looks, but it's fun to be a blogger.

I'm a semi retired photo stylist that loves to have a needle in my hand. I have always loved doing any kind of project that involves a needle. I have also enjoyed water color painting, photography, and quilting. I like having small projects I can take with me when I am waiting for my 9 year grand daughter that I am raising. I've been married for 45 years to Ray, who sadly developed
Alzhiemers about 6 years ago. Stitching helps me forget for a little while. I have become addicted to the many blogs I have found and can't wait to start my next project.
